David is an award-winning engineer, social impact leader, and tech entrepreneur with a passion for creating impactful products and building communities that empower individuals. He is the CEO & CTO of Demystifyd and the Chairman & CEO of Aware.ai, a platform leveraging artificial intelligence to connect women to supportive virtual communities and vital social resources before, during, and after pregnancy.

 

David is a recipient of the Exceptional Ability Green Card award from the United States government for his work on Aware.ai in addressing US Maternal Health Challenges.

 

Previously, David was the Chief Design Engineer at CTS Corporation, helping to invent and patent smart automotive actuator technologies. He went on to lead innovations at Apple, NVIDIA, and Tesla at the intersections of product design, artificial intelligence, and engineering management – tackling novel technical challenges at the cutting edge of mobile technologies, deep learning GPU design, and self-driving cars.

 

A licensed US Professional Engineer, David also holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Western Michigan University, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master’s in Engineering & Technology Innovation Management from Carnegie Mellon University with concentrations in artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship. David's Graduate work at Harvard University cuts across Data Privacy & AI Technology Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government – further deepening his expertise in innovating technologies that create societal impact.
